About Home Estate Realty
Denise Fuller
Residential Real Estate Professional
I’m still amazed by the natural beauty of Virginia and those who choose to call her home. I wake each morning feeling blessed, watching my children flourish, and devoting my time helping others succeed in real estate.
My career in real estate began as being part of a team of amazing professionals working in Ashburn VA. With a Master’s Degree in Educational Foundations and Psychology and 17 years experience working at the Department of State in everything from Protocol to Public Affairs, it was the perfect place for me to apply my skills and realize the potential. I got to meet amazing personalities, problem solve under pressure, share my knowledge, and face challenges every single day. What more could I ask for?
I knew right away that establishing my own company would allow me build from the ground up and that’s exactly what happened. After incorporating Home Estate Realty, Inc. in 2020, I was barely getting started when the pandemic hit. A two-year-long pandemic was hard on a new company but that was my “burn the boat” moment. I was not about to quit. I relied on books to inspire me, my children to be proud of me, and my stubbornness to keep me moving.
My parents and family all valued education. Most of my education took place in private Christian-based institutions and in the end, Jesuit universities. I appreciate their consistent message of service to others and living to one’s full potential. I treasure my time moving away from home at 18, learning new things about myself, the world, and others. It taught me to navigate, adjust, push hard and see good in others. It’s also why I have a passion for new technology and resources. I get to learn new things and figure out how it can benefit out clients. It’s always about providing the best customer experience.
For most of my career (17 years), I worked at the American Embassy in Belize/US State Department. Here I learned to navigate through diplomatic communities, working with the media, and managing large scale events and projects. I still go back these experiences when marketing my clients’ homes (as if it was my own), negotiating for my clients (with highest integrity), keeping my friends informed (through video market updates), and doing open houses (because who doesn’t like to throw a good party and make friends along the way).
By the end of 2021, the long workdays finally started to pay off. Our client database grew over 200% and the number of home sold more than doubled from the year before. To top it all off, I was named one of the top 10 producing agents in the Coldwell Banker Leesburg office and top 100 for the Mid-Atlantic Region. I look forward to continuously grow each year for the benefit of our clients in this ever-evolving industry.
