Since a very young age, Meagan has always been surrounded by art. Her father was a photographer, and her mother a graphic designer, they always encouraged art and creativity in the family. The world of art has always been something she was more drawn to than her siblings. In choosing a major in college, she tried to strive for the more practical career paths, but she always found herself coming back to art. After a couple changes in her degree, she graduated from George Mason University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, concentrating in Painting.
Since graduating in 2015, she has participated in two local art shows: Off the Wall at George Mason University in 2016, and RAW: Artists DC in 2019. She has also relaunched her Etsy shop, MeaganRoseDesign, for her custom pet, landscape, and home watercolor paintings.
Although professionally trained in oil painting, she more recently picked up watercoloring since becoming a mother and has found a true passion in the new medium. Her house paintings have been most popular; second are her pet portraits. Most recently, she started doing virtual Paint & Sip classes after a great success instructing her first one with the REALTOR® Association of Prince William, where she is currently the Communications & Events Director.
